Everything Changes, but Who Knows the Change Remains Unchanged

Everything in world changes.

Seasons change.
Situations change.
Thoughts change.
Emotions change.

Sometimes life feels peaceful.
Sometimes uncertain.
Sometimes joyful.
Sometimes heavy.

The entire world appears to move continuously from one state to another.

Yet amidst all this movement, something quietly remains the same.

A person sitting beside a flowing river watches the water constantly move.

The river changes every moment, but the one observing the river remains separate from its flow.

Everything changes, but the one who knows the change remains unchanged.

The awareness observing change is deeper than change itself.

Most suffering begins when we become completely attached to temporary situations.

When praise comes, happiness rises.
When criticism comes, the mind becomes disturbed.
When situations improve, peace appears.
When situations change, fear enters.

The heart becomes unstable because it keeps holding onto things that cannot remain permanent.

But slowly a deeper understanding begins to emerge.

Everything visible in life continues changing.

Yet the awareness observing every experience silently remains present.

Clouds move across the sky, but the sky itself remains untouched.

This realization quietly changes the way we live.

Challenges may still come.
Difficult moments may still arise.
But inner stability slowly becomes stronger.

Peace begins when we stop expecting permanent security from temporary things.

Nature teaches this truth silently everywhere.

Morning becomes evening.
Leaves fall without resistance.
Waves rise and disappear.

Life keeps changing naturally.

Spiritual wisdom begins when we stop fighting change and start recognizing the silent presence beyond it.

Temporary situations belong to the world. Inner peace belongs to the one who learns not to become lost within them.

Meditation, silence, devotion, prayer, and self-awareness help because they gradually shift attention away from outer instability toward inner stillness.

Then peace no longer completely depends on changing circumstances.

It begins arising from within.

Perhaps true wisdom is realizing that while everything changes, the awareness knowing those changes quietly remains unchanged.
