Many people believe that the path to God is through knowledge alone.
They study scriptures.

Many seekers spend years trying to understand God.
There is nothing wrong with this.

“Have I spent more time studying God than loving Him?”

Because God is not merely a subject to be analyzed.
God is a living reality to be experienced.

The saints repeatedly taught that God can be reached by scholarship, but He is conquered by love.

Knowledge may impress people. Love touches God.
A Lesson from Nature
A flower does not argue about the existence of the sun.
It simply turns toward the light.
And because of that turning, it blooms.
The soul is similar.
When it turns toward God with love, it begins to blossom.
Peace grows.
Fear decreases.
Compassion expands.
Life gains a deeper meaning.
Then devotion is no longer a practice.
It becomes a relationship.
God is not looking for the most knowledgeable heart. He is looking for the most loving one.
Knowledge becomes beautiful when it leads to humility.
