Before anything existed…
there was already something present.
Not created… not begun…
already there.
Before the world, there was God. After the world, there will be God. Even now, it is only God.
Everything keeps changing.
moments arise… and pass…
forms appear… and disappear…
nothing stays.
Yet something does not move.
Something does not come and go.
Something remains…
through all change.
What is present is not coming and going… it simply is.
Search happens in many directions…
in thoughts… in forms… in experiences…
Yet what is sought…
is never separate.
Not somewhere else…
not at another time…
but even now…
already present.
The quiet realization
Nothing needs to be reached.
Nothing needs to be brought.
Only this becomes clear:
what is always present…
was never absent.
The search itself creates distance… what is sought is already here.
Then effort softens.
movement slows.
and something quiet remains.
not created…
but noticed.
Like the open sky
clouds may pass…
but the sky does not move.
In the same way…
everything changes…
yet what is present remains untouched.
In some traditions…
this ever-present…
has been referred to as Shiva.
not as something to imagine…
but as that which always is.
In the end, it becomes simple.
Nothing new is found.
Only what was always there…
is no longer overlooked.
Never absent… only unnoticed.
